The Hotel
Hotel LocationThe hotel was designed by the architect Álvaro Sans and exudes the tranquillity, flavour and magnificence of a classical Andalusian palace.
The hotel opened in 1999, becoming the first 5 star hotel in the region. Since then numerous VIP guests have stayed here, including HRH King Juan Carlos I of Spain, as well as famous celebrities such as Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry.
The hotel has two distinct areas: the first is a beautiful courtyard surrounded by archways where gardens and fountains create a perfect atmosphere perfect for rest and relaxation. The courtyard passages are also home to three of the hotel’s restaurants, the Don Juan Bar, the Alberti Theater Café and the Beauty Farm.
The second area of the hotel is located around the huge swimming pool (nearly 70m2) and has direct access to La Barrosa beach. The majority of the rooms are located around the swimming pool.
